WALLED LAKE, me. (WXYZ) – A family mourns a murder in Walled Lake involving a 50-year-old man who was stabbed to death in his own home.
A roommate of the victim was taken into custody and arrested, neighbors said, who saw him handcuffed from the house.
“He definitely didn’t deserve this, he was a good person,” says Nancy Johnston, mother of 50-year-old Todd Hall.
Nancy tells us it is unknown what fueled the domestic violence that led to her son’s death.
So far, the police have released few details about what happened.
Todd Hall is described as a loving father and someone who always helps others in need.
He was stabbed to death at 11 p.m. on Wednesday night, allegedly by a friend and roommate.
Police continue to collect evidence from the house on Dover Hill Road near Maple and Pontiac Trail.
