Marine le Pen could win France’s next presidential election, admitted a senior member of Emmanuel Macron’s cabinet.
French finance minister Bruno Le Maire warned that the right-wing leader’s victory in next year’s election was a “political option” that must be “rejected”.
Le Maire threw his weight behind Emmanuel Macron, warning of a “difficult” election campaign in a country “riddled with movements of anger, with doubts that are very deep”.
