Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, will step down as managing director of the company founded 27 years ago, the online retailer announced on Tuesday. Andy Jassy, head of Amazon Web Services, will take over as CEO in the third quarter, while Bezos will become executive chairman, Amazon said.
