Ligue 1 club Nantes has gained a huge resonance across the football world after posting a cartoon in which Argentine legend Diego Maradona meets former striker Emiliano Sala in heaven.
Maradona died Wednesday of a heart attack at the age of 60, just weeks after being hospitalized for brain surgery in the first week of November.
The club uploaded an illustration to their Twitter page showing Maradona and former Nantes player Sala who were killed in a tragic plane crash in January 2019.

The tweet was liked over 36,000 times and fans were delighted when they remembered the two former footballers.
One fan tweeted, “Two stars who can party together in paradise,” while another said, “It breaks my heart.”
However, the cartoon split opinion among the thousands who looked at it when a user tweeted, “Something unpleasant about it”.
