Arsenal missed star midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai as a highly rated 20-year-old player for RB Leipzig from sister club Red Bull Salzburg
- Dominik Szoboszlai has signed a contract with Red Bull Leipzig until June 2025
- The 20-year-old is said to have interested clubs like Arsenal, Spurs and Real Madrid
- The Hungarian international was an outstanding player for Red Bull Salzburg
- He will be available for the Champions League round of 16 in Leipzig against Liverpool
Dominik Szoboszlai has completed his move from sister club Red Bull Salzburg to RB Leipzig. The midfielder moved in January after signing a four and a half year deal.
The 20-year-old Hungarian international is one of the most promising young talents in European football and has had a number of applicants, including Arsenal and Tottenham, after showing up on the Austrian side for the past two years.
But Szoboszlai has denied any interest from the Premier League and decided to switch to the Bundesliga for the Champions League semi-finalists in Leipzig last season. The association tweeted on Thursday afternoon: “Welcome to Leipzig, Dominik!”
