It takes place over the course of two episodes – “Corporate Crush” and “Cleveland” – which aired in positions 19 and 20 of the season, respectively.
In “Corporate Crush” Jack proposes to Phoebe and she accepts his marriage offer. In Cleveland, Liz confronts Phoebe about the impending union. During their conversation, Phoebe slips and her English accent is nowhere to be heard as she tells Liz in clear American tones: “You don’t know anything about me, so withdraw!”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, you fool,” replies Phoebe, emphasizing her false English accent again.
