Seven former Premier League footballers have sued a financial advisor who they claim has cost them more than £ 2 million in mis-sold pensions.
The claimants, which include former England internationals Rob Lee and Warren Barton and their Newcastle United teammate John Beresford, said they lost a large portion of their savings after investing in unregulated offshore systems.
