Wearing three layers of face coverings can protect you from infection with the novel coronavirus.

Multiple masks may offer some level of protection, but you are also more likely to mess around with an extra mask and make breathing more difficult
Instead, infectious disease specialists recommend wearing either a single, multi-layer mask that fits snugly over your nose and mouth, or a surgical mask with an additional layer of fabric.
In fact, three-layer masks can block at least 90 percent of the potentially infectious droplets and reduce the risk of disease.
