Dancing on ice has returned to screens tonight (Jan 17th) for its 13th season.
The ITV competition is back with a line of 12 new celebrities teaming up with professional skaters to crown this year’s winners.
Rebekah Vardy is one of the new stars of the series. Vardy’s partner is professional ice skater Andy Buchanan, who has previously participated in the show twice.
Buchanan first starred in the show with TV host Anthea Turner in season eight and then with Coronation Street Actor Zaraah Abrahams in season nine.
Vardy has become a familiar face both as a television presenter and as a model.
Her other TV credits include the role as a guest discussant and presenter Permissive women. She also appeared on Good morning Great Britain, This morning, and Jeremy Vine.
Vardy is also married to professional footballer Jamie Vardy, who currently plays in the Premier League as a striker for Leicester City.
The couple met in 2014 when Vardy was working as a nightclub promoter and married two years later. They have three children together. Last year the couple starred in two episodes of Celebrity glasses box.
In July, Vardy filed a libel claiming she was falsely accused. The widely publicized feud – called “Wagatha Christie” – is still ongoing.
Both Vardy and Rooney have agreed to stay the case until February, suggesting they will try to resolve the issue privately without requiring a full process.
Vardy and her husband currently live in Lincolnshire with their family.
