The vaccine app helps the employees in the office: Vacc-Trak is used by 11,000 companies to monitor how many employees have had bumps
Gambling giant Betfred and a hotel owned by ex-Manchester United footballers are among more than 11,000 companies that use an app to track how many employees have had Covid-19 shocks.
Hotel Football, set up by Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes, used the free Vacc-Trak app.
Hotel Football: It uses the app and says customers might prefer employees who work with them to be vaccinated.
Hotel Football spokeswoman Joanne O’Reilly said having a vaccinated workforce in the hospitality industry would help as customers may prefer to “vaccinate employees who work with them.”
The Old Trafford hotel reopened last week with around 10 percent of the staff vaccinated.
She said that employees who had and had not been bumped were on “level pegging” but “if it comes to a point where we are declining revenue because our employees are not all vaccinated, it could potentially be an issue be”.
Betfred also uses VaccTrak – developed by employment law firm BrightHR – and said around a quarter of employees at headquarters received their first vaccination.
