Cristiano Ronaldo sent a strong message to his Juventus team-mates after losing 3-0 to Fiorentina, insisting that there is no excuse for anything as Andrea Pirlo’s side lost more ground in the Serie A title race.
The old lady suffered her first home defeat of the season when Dusan Vlahovic, Martin Caceres and an own goal from Alex Sandro beat 10-man Juventus in a shock result on Tuesday.
The defeat, compounded by AC Milan’s 3-2 win over Lazio, leaves Pirlo’s side 10 points behind Stefano Pioli’s side as they attempt to win their tenth straight Scudetto.

“Yesterday we finished our planned games for 2020 with a poor performance and a far from acceptable result, a special year in many ways,” wrote Ronaldo on Instagram.
‘Empty stadiums, COVID logs, postponed games, long interruptions and a very tight calendar.
