With his time at Arsenal coming to a disappointing end, Mesut Ozil has decided to pick his favorite player XI, whom he played during his time at the club.
During a Twitter Q&A with fans on Monday night, Ozil spoke about a number of interesting topics while teasing Fenerbahce fans about a possible move to the Turkish club.
Ozil, who was ruthlessly struck out by Mikel Arteta and has not played since last March, will soon be leaving. Before finally leaving, the German has decided to name the best Arsenal XI during his time at the club.

Mesut Ozil picked the best Arsenal XI he played with in a Twitter Q&A on Monday

Ozil named in his Arsenal XI greats like Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
There are some very obvious choices in the XI including Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, Laurent Koscielny and the current captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Ozil also named Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker and Serge Gnabry, who did bigger and better things at Bayern Munich, in his Arsenal team.
However, Ozil decided on some very surprising names and chose David Ospina in goal ahead of his compatriot and current teammate Bernd Leno and former goalkeeper Petr Cech.
He also opted for close friend Sead Kolasinac on the left, despite the fact that the Bosnian defender failed to convince during his time in the Emirates.
And finally Ozil called himself in the XI in an offensive three-point, with Sanchez and Gnabry playing behind Aubameyang.

While his Arsenal XI got a lot of people thinking, the biggest question and answer topic on Monday was when it sent Fenerbahce fans into a frenzy.
Ozil has been heavily linked to a move to Fenerbahce and has reportedly signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the club after videoconferencing discussions with directors on the Turkish side last week.
When a fan asked on Twitter why he liked Fenerbahce, Ozil replied: “I grew up as a child in Germany as a Fenerbahce fan – every German-Turkish person supports a Turkish team when they grow up in Germany.
‘And mine was Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce is like Real Madrid in Spain. The largest club in the country. ‘
Just before that tweet, Ozil also revealed that Kadikoy – where Fenerbahce is based – is his favorite district in Istanbul.
