Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is excited to see Thiago Alcantara return but has shown that he is unlikely to face Newcastle United.
Thiago returned to full first-team training on Monday after a long absence after a hasty duel by Richarlison in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Everton in October.
However, Klopp has made it clear that Thiago will need to do “some training sessions” before returning to his matchday squad and is insisting that Wednesday’s game at St. James’ Park comes early.
