This champagne is full of brightness and purity and consists of 40% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from the best Crus in Champagne. As a cuvée without dosage, it is the result of a grape blend of ten harvests from 2006 to 2015 and an extended ripening time of 48 months on the yeast, which gives a creamy texture and taste that is balanced by white fruits and limes with a hint of minerality . The Brut Nature is available nationwide for $ 59.99.
Billecart-Salmon has also just released a limited edition bottling calledLes Rendez-vous de Billecart salmon No. 1. This first 100% Meunier champagne to be brought out by the house is made from grapes from historic terroirs in the Marne Valley and aged on the lees for 52 months before being released. This extra brut champagne is delicate, with notes of white cherry, pear and red currant, with a white pepper finish.
